Tuesday, 28 June 2011 05:46

Students in Riker Hill Elementary School have a bright and sunny future in store for them. EMSA Solar LLC installed a 221 kW solar power system. The solar system is estimated to produce 255,565.00 kW hours of solar energy per year and eliminate approximately 4,152 tons of carbon dioxide. The solar installations are expected to last and benefit the school for 30 years. When the project was awarded to EMSA Solar LLC the work at the school started immediately after signing the contract with Livingston School District. Soltech modules, Solectria PVI inverters and Sunlink (non-penetrating ballasted) racking were used at all the school locations. Power WOW sustainability management systems and monitoring systems from DECK Monitoring were further used for the solar system.
